I used VAG-COM to record temperatures in and out of the DPF on my 2010 Jetta 2.0 l TDI. This was a 5 mile suburban jaunt from a cold start.


I presume that even in this short trip some passive regeneration was taking place, as the output temperatures were on average higher than input temperatures.


The peak output temperature was 300 degrees C. It appears that it was somehow limited or regulated to that point, as for a fairly long stretch on the spreadsheet it did not budge.
